Charlie Haggard is a freelance artist and illustrator from Huntington, WV focusing on creating his own universe of original characters, comics, and stories. From art shows to festivals, he looks for any opportunity to share his work with the world and hopes to encourage a more creative atmosphere in the Appalachian area. Self-taught and inspired by a blend of nostalgia, pop culture, and a strange imagination, the goal is to evoke curiosity while distracting from the fact that he has no idea what he’s doing…
Sharing this creative hunger are his best friends he often collaborates with under the collective name Bearqueft. It quickly became a brand for their humor and, most importantly, the drive to create original media to be proud of together.
Now happily married to his beautiful wife Rebecca in 2021, Charlie’s free time is exclusively reserved for friends and family who continually inspire him.
